Experienced Farm Hand

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Farm Hand to join our large-scale flower farm in the picturesque Northern Rivers region of Lynwood, NSW. Key Responsibilities:
General Farm Duties: Perform a wide range of farm tasks, including planting, harvesting, irrigation, and general maintenance to ensure the overall success of farm operations.
Driving Responsibilities: Hold a valid driver's license and be responsible for driving farm vehicles as needed for various tasks, such as transporting equipment, produce, or supplies.
Chemical Application: Utilize your chemical certificate to safely and effectively apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers as required, following best practices and safety guidelines.
Chainsaw Skills (Nice to Have): If you possess chainsaw skills, use them for tasks such as felling trees, clearing debris, or maintaining the farm's landscape. This is a nice-to-have skill but not a strict requirement.
Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and repair of farm equipment, ensuring they remain in optimal working condition.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Farm Director and other team members to ensure the farm operates smoothly and efficiently.
Compliance: Adhere to all safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines in all farm operations, particularly when handling chemicals and machinery.
Reliability: Demonstrate punctuality and reliability in fulfilling assigned tasks and responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license.
Chemical certificate for safe and responsible chemical application.
Chainsaw certificate (nice to have, but not required)
Forklift certificate (nice to have, but not required)
Previous experience in farm work or a related field.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
Working Conditions:
This position involves working on a large-scale flower farm in Lynwood, NSW, within the stunning Northern Rivers region.
Farm work may require exposure to varying weather conditions.
The role may require occasional weekend or extended hours during peak farming seasons.
